15 Day Wildlife Safari in Tanzania- Zanzibar Holiday

Embark, on a 15 day Tanzanian wildlife safari where you can immerse yourself in the bushmen culture and embark on thrilling adventures in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. This safari is perfect for families as it offers experiences opportunities to interact with children and a chance to fully immerse yourself in the unique local culture. The trip includes designed activities, for kids, delicious meals and expert guides to ensure an experience.

The accommodations we have chosen for your safari are categorized, Campsite, Lodge/Tent or Luxury Hotels and lodges. The Price on Top can be lower or Higher depends on the type of safari and the season.

Day 1: Welcome to Arusha, Tanzania. 


When you reach Kilimanjaro International Airport our representative will be there to welcome you and take you to Karama Lodge Hotel, in Arusha. Once you have an introduction, to the safari take some time to unwind and savor a dinner.


Day 2: Arusha town/ community tour for acclimatization.


Explore community activities, during your visit, such as a Maasai market a fascinating Snake Park located near Arusha, and the opportunity to support and engage with children at an orphanage. At the end of the day you can. Enjoy a dinner, at the Karama Lodge Hotel.


Day 3: Arusha to Arusha National Park.


Start your day with breakfast and a briefing, from our guide before heading to Arusha National Park. This park is famous for its sights, including Mount Meru, the Momela Lakes, and the captivating Ngurdoto Crater. Take part in a morning and afternoon game drive exploring both the lakes and the crater. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings such, as buffalo, elephants, giraffes and if you’re even leopards. At the end of the day return to Karama Lodge Hotel for a dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.


Day 4: Arusha to Lake Manyara


Start your day with breakfast and a briefing, from our guide before heading to Arusha National Park. This park is famous for its sights, including Mount Meru, the Momela Lakes, and the captivating Ngurdoto Crater. At the end of the day return to Karama Lodge Hotel for a dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.


Day 5: Manyara – Lake Natron


After enjoying your morning meal make your way, to Lake Natron, which’s a breeding location for flamingos. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to observe Maasai villages and stop at Engaruka to explore irrigation remains. Once you arrive at Lake Natron take in the sights of the wildlife. Enjoy a lunch at your lodge. Afterward take a stroll by the lake where you might even have the chance to swim or go boating depending on water levels. Embark on a trek to Ngaresero River waterfalls while keeping an eye out for monkeys and curious baboons. As evening approaches treat yourself to a sundowner experience, by Lake Natron before settling in for the night at your tented camp.


Day 6: Lake Natron- Serengeti


Begin your day by taking a walk around the Lake. Afterward make your way, to Serengeti National Park passing through the Loliondo area, known for its wildebeest migration in November and December. Once you’ve completed the formalities at Kleins Gate embark on a game drive through Serengeti, where you’ll have the chance to spot magnificent animals such, as zebras, buffaloes and even the recently introduced Rhinos. End your day by spending a night at Ikoma bush tented camp.


Day 7: Full day in Serengeti Park


To truly experience a Safari in Tanzania you cannot miss out on Serengeti National Park. Start your day with an early morning game drive to catch sight of the creatures and witness the awakening of other wildlife. Spend the day exploring the wonders of Serengeti with a chance to witness the awe inspiring ‘Great Migration’ of wildebeests, gazelles, and zebras. Finally wrap up your adventure by heading to Serengeti Ikoma bush tented camp for dinner and some deserved rest.


Day 8: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater


We will have breakfast around 08;00. Then head towards Ngorongoro Crater. Once we arrive at the Luxury Camp we will check in. Enjoy a lunch. In the afternoon and early evening we will have the opportunity to explore the wildlife on the crater floor. We will spend the night at Rhino Lodge, where meals are included.


Day 9: Full day, Ngorongoro Crater


From 07;00 onwards we will commence a thrilling game drive, through the Ngorongoro Crater. Brace yourself for captivating sightings of lions, graceful elephants, striking zebras and an array of fascinating wildlife. Our experienced Driver/Guide will skillfully uncover animals along the way. As the day draws to a close we will head back, to Rhino Lodge where a delightful dinner awaits us followed by a stay.


Day 10: Ngorongoro – Eyasi


Today we’re going to explore Lake Eyasi, which is the habitat of the Hadzabe tribe. These indigenous people have preserved their way of life as hunter-gatherers. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with the Datoga tribe and learn about their heritage. Take some time to relax and enjoy a sundowner at Lake Eyasi. If it has rained recently maybe even take a refreshing dip. For your stay I recommend Kisimangeda Tented Lodge.


Day 11: Lake Eyasi – Tarangire National Park – Arusha – Zanzibar.


During the hours of the morning, you’ll have the opportunity to accompany the Bushmen on a hunting expedition before making your way, to Tarangire National Park, which happens to be Tanzanias largest park. There you’ll be treated to the sight of baobab trees witness large herds of elephants and even catch a glimpse of rare creatures like the Oryx. The Tarangire River is a magnet for wildlife resulting in thrilling predator prey interactions. By afternoon it will be time for you to make your way back, to Arusha and catch a flight to Zanzibar.
ZANZIBAR – (The Spice Island).


Day 12 – 14: Full leisure days in Zanzibar.


Discover the delights of Zanzibars Stone Town with a captivating full day tour that combines the enchanting Spice and Prison Island experiences. Immerse yourself in the history of this town renowned for its stunning coral stone architecture. Explore landmarks such, as the House of Wonders, Palace Museum. Even pay a visit to Fred Mercurys cherished abode. Afterward indulge in some deserved leisure time during the afternoon before embarking on a sunset cruise along the picturesque waterfront. Make sure to make a stop, at Forodhani gardens to soak in the ambiance. Finally spend a night at your accommodation nestled within Stone Towns welcoming embrace. Mnarani Beach Cottages.


Day 15: Zanzibar – Dar-Es-Salaam – flight back home


You will be collected from your hotel. Transferred to Dar es Salaam International Airport, where you will board your flight home.
